As reported by the Southeast Texas Record, Elroyce Johnson, a retired plumber, filed a wrongful death suit against Amoco Oil Company and other companies for the death of his wife, Maxine. The man claims he was exposed to asbestos-containing products while working at Amoco which contaminated his wife and caused her to develop lung cancer.
Maxine died of mesothelioma late last year. The suit accuses the defendants of failing to warn the employees of the health risks posed by asbestos exposure, that they knew of the harmful existence and didn’t do anything to take care of the problem.
