Sentencing in the case of a former Cayuga County employee charged in connection with the illegal removal of an asbestos-containing boiler was delayed this week. John M. Chick, 61, pleaded guilty in January to conspiracy to violate the federal Clean Air Act. He faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The sentencing has been rescheduled for March 6.
