Armada Satterfield died at the young age of 25 from the dreaded rare cancer mesothelioma. She was exposed to asbestos fibers and dust inadvertently brought into the house by her father, Doug Shatterfield, from his work place. His work clothes contained the deadly fibers. Shatterfield worked at ALCOA hauling asbestos and asbestos-containing material.
Armada filed a suit against ALCOA Inc and Breeding Insulation Co in Blount County Circuit Court in Tennessee, seeking $20 million — $10 million as compensation and $10 million in punitive damages.
Unfortunately she died before the case could be decided and is now being fought on her behalf by her father. For more information, contact the Mesothelioma Lawyers at Williams Kherkher at 1.800.220.9341.
