Minnesota to Study Mesothelioma Deaths in Miners

There have been significant numbers of deaths of miners from mesothelioma in Minnesota. 58 deaths have been reported since 2006. The only known cause for mesothelioma is long term exposure to asbestos.

W.R. Grace Settles U.S. Government Suit for $250 Million

In 2001, the U.S. government sued W.R. Grace, a chemical manufacturing company, for creating asbestos pollution in Libby, Montana, under the Superfund law.
